Check out the Nike Zoom Pegasus 31 Performance Review:

From bottoms up, the new Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 features a carbonized rubber outsole which covers the majority of the outsole. There is plenty of rubber under your feet on the Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 so durability shouldn’t be an issue.

On the outsole of the Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 you can find two types of traction: Classic Nike waffle cone lugs and the two crash rails running from the toe to the heel. The lugs provides excellent traction while the rails should absorb the impact of landing and provide a smooth heel to toe transition.

The cushioning on the new Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 is probably the biggest change of all. Leaving its traditional foot steps, the Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 added an additional forefoot Zoom Air bag under your forefoot. This is the reason why I bought the new Pegasus 33 because I desperately wanted to try out the difference the additional Zoom Air Unit can make.

Aside from the Zoom Air bags on the Nike Zoom Pegasus 33, the midsole itself is what Nike calls Cushlon. Which is a bouncier version of your regular pylon foams.

The upper on the Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 did not see much changes from the Pegasus 32. Both models features a full on engineered mesh upper while Nike Flywire decorates the side for midfoot lock down purposes.

3M reflective accents are detected on the heel counter of the Nike Zoom Pegasus 33. The large area of 3M material used on the heel counter will make you more visible to cars at night.

The new Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 fits true to size in my opinion. However if you have 1)wider feet or 2)higher feet, I suggest you trying on the Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 in store.

  • I did not enjoy my first run in these. I'm hoping they will open up for me after a few more runs. Couldn't get as good s forefoot strike as adidas or brooks shoes in same price range . Very stiff and unresponsive at first.

  • A very comfortable show which runs true to size (unlike the tight fitting Vomeros mentioned in video). I also own the Pegs 31 which does not have the forefoot airbag like the Pegs 33. That one is perfect for walking- I prefer the rear and front airbags on the 33 model and the shoe still feels lightweight (and fast) while running 10K x 3 times per week. I also own numerous Asics Kayanos, GT's and Adidas Energy Boost 2.0's and can say the Nike Pegs 33 are my favorite. The feel the lightest and the cushioning feels the best. The Limited Edited Rostarr model is pretty dope if you can still find them- super quality and beautiful shoe from Nike!

  • I have the same exact shoe, and it looks stunning in person. I use mine with my casual clothing and also serves as my training shoe in the gym and my foot never gets bored because of bouncy feel.

  • I saw this is a losing shoe for running, why?in my size the upper is too narrow and the midsole is too hard, this good for walking i am sure about that😤🚶

  • Right shoe weighed 10.87 oz, Left shoe weighed 10.95 oz. Shoe size is 11 and weight was taken with laces on and brand new out of box. Little discrepancy on quality control…

  • How much of a difference does the forefoot Zoom unit make as compared to the Pegasus 32? Wondering if it is worth the extra $40 in the market I'm currently in.
