Nike Pegasus 35 or Nike Pegasus 35 TURBO? Which should you buy?

The Nike Pegasus 35 test is in the books, along with the Nike Pegasus 35 Turbo, which running shoe should you consider buying moving forward? I must say, that if the money is available, I would lean heavily in the direction of the Turbo. BUT, the greater value would have to lie with the Nike Pegasus 35, not the turbo option. $120 vs $180 is quite the difference, and you are going to get a great running shoe in the $120 option of the Nike Pegasus 35. In addition, the Nike Pegasus 35 Turbo is still developing and refining. With that said, I could notice a huge difference in the midsole between the Zoom foam on the Nike Pegasus 35 and the Zoom X Foam on the Nike Pegasus 35 Turbo. If you have any sort of injury related to your knees, shin splints, or foot pain like plantar fasciitis, I would strongly recommend going with the Nike Pegasus 35 Turbo option, it will be worth the additional $60. The cushion and responsiveness of the Turbo option just helps so much with dealing with Plantar Fasciitis pain. Let me know down in the comments if you are interested in either of these running shoes moving forward.

  • I still run in both of the. The Pegasus for every day runs, the Turbo for competiton and Falter runs. Great shoes, they brought me back to Nike after several years in Adidas.

  • I bought the Turbo, and despite narrow foot (B), l find the toe box too shallow. Is is better in the Pegasus 35? Really appreciate a reply. Know you are busy. Thx. (watched rest of video, and earlier in the year I had heel pain for several months…not sure that would be classified as PF?) , but deal breaker for Peg 35 then? )

  • I own the peg 35 (305km) and really loving them, so comfy and firm ride… and finally got on sale ($101) the 35 turbo yesterday so let's see how good are they.

    Pegasus!

  • I'm a Peg fan, I have about 110 miles in them. I recently went to a Nike outlet and saw the peg 35 and thought… Try it on compared to your used peg.
The cushion was substantially different. I think that cushion midsole in the now peg 36 will be the last. It doesn't hold up for too long. The react/ zoomx will live on.
Now that said, I haven't tried the turbos yet, but I do enjoy the 4%'s. That's my take.

  • What’s the wearability like on the Turbos? I’ve got the Pegasus 35 at them moment with over 600miles. Whilst they do need changing, if I had too I could carry on for longer.

  • Pegasus. Hi Seth. These shoes are on sale now so price isn't my issue. I'm female and my foot width is C. Women's regular is B. Men's regular is D. I've always felt Nike was a narrow shoe. I ordered the Odyssey react and returned them because the midsole was too narrow for me. The upper felt fine but the lateral side of my foot was hanging over the midsole causing me feel unstable, like I could roll my ankle. I noticed that you are wearing a women's colorway on the turbos. Do you have a narrow foot? Would you recommend this shoe for narrow feet only? I found the peg 35 in women's wide (men's regular D). I was thinking of getting them. Do you think the midsole is narrow on the peg 35s? Thanks in advance!

  • I run a Marathon in regular Pegs 35 and they were awesome. I am suffering from heel pain, which started earlier, than I bought them. After the Marathon I was able to walk, which was big thumb up😃. Anyway I am thinking about giving a shot Turbos,as u r saying, that your PF feels better in Turbos ;). Anyway, your channel is awesome 😉

  • Hey Seth, I’ve been running for about a year now, and full disclosure I’m a former college basketball player so I’m 6’9 245 lbs. With that in mind cushioning is super important to me. I have had luck with the adidas ultra boost, are there any other shoes you might recommend? Thanks!

  • Btw I know it’s a little late but the Peg35 doesn’t have foam rather it’s a full length zoom air pocket

  • I saw many reviews that the 35 turbo's tail breaks often. Have you had that issue? Does it last?

  • It's great that you emphasized the value vs performance part. Just got the Pegasus 35 at 50% off! I know I'm late but I think I found a new tempo shoe in peg 35. I hope I can get the turbo version soon.

  • Right now the 35 is AU $125 and the pegasus is $260, (US $89 vs $185), so I think I'm gonna stick with the 35's
